Here are some links to other websites that you might find helpful:

www.humilityofmary.org

Jim is the President of Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center, a ministry of the Humility of Mary Sisters in Villa Maria, Pennsylvania. This website will familiarize you with the sisters and their work. You can click on ministries and browse the various retreat and faith formation opportunities to learn about the work of Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center.

www.lifelongfaith.com This is the cyber-home of LifelongFaith Associates founded by John Roberto, founder and former director of the Center for Ministry Development. LifelongFaith Associates assists congregations and families with developing innovative faith formation processes for Christians of all ages. They provide their services through publishing (a quarterly journal, books, family resources, website), consulting, workshops, and more.

www.generationsoffaith.com This is a subscription site for parishes, but there are places on the site you may visit without the subscription. One of those places describes several parishes that have successful intergenerational and lifelong faith-formation ministries.  Encourage your parish staff to subscribe.  Parishioners will get access to hundreds of home catechetical ideas, while parish staff will find a plethora of ministry tools.

www.kathleenchesto.com  Kathy Chesto is one of the great practitioners of family and intergenerational ministries.  She is the celebrated author of FIRE (Family-centered Intergenerational Religious Education), a comprehensive intergenerational catechetical program.  Kathy has also written eloquently on many other faith topics.  She is always intelligent, insightful and deeply spiritual.

www.homefaith.com  Here you'll find the Claretian offerings for family faith formation.  They have good articles, ideas and resources for families.

www.disciplesnow.com  This is a site for Catholic teens and others who are involved with youth ministry.  I recommend it for all Catholics because we all have to be in touch with what is going on with the various generations that gather each Sunday.  It's a terrible mistake to leave youth ministry out on its own.  We need to incorporate young people into every aspect of church life.

www.bustedhalo.com  This online magazine, targeting adults in their 20s and 30s, is an outstanding resource to help you keep your finger on the pulse of current events from a Catholilc perspective.

www.merhaut.com  My brothers own a religious goods store in Pittsburgh, PA.  You'll find lots of nice religious gifts at their site.  They're very good at customer service - give them a call.

www.thefest.us  The Fest is one of the great one-day, intergenerational faith-formation events in the country.  Nearly 20,000 people of all ages get together to enjoy live music, food, bounce-arounds, educational booths, activity booths, fireworks and a spectacular mass.  It's sponsored by the Cleveland Diocese and all the activities are free... even some of the food is free!  If you're anywhere near Cleveland on the first Sunday in August, don't miss it!

www.malarianomore.org  A child dies in Africa every 30 seconds from malaria, an easily prevented disease.  But families in Africa can't afford the simple net tents that keep the deadly mosquitos from biting their children while they sleep.  It's easy to help poor families in Africa save their children from malaria and it only costs you $10.00.  Check out this website for more information.

http://www.poodwaddle.com/clocks2.htm  This is a great site to help you keep track of some of the world's vital statistics such as population growth, oil supply, earth temperature, etc.  It may help you to read the signs of the times. Check it out.
