Jim Merhaut is an award-winning writer, a retreat director, a veteran religious educator, a musician  and is available for diocesan, regional and national keynotes and workshops on Christian faith formation.
 

He is the President of Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center located on the picturesque 726-acre property of the Humility of Mary Sisters in western Pennsylvania.

Jim writes and teaches for LifelongFaith Associates, located in Naugatuck, CT.

He is the author of Your Catholic Family: Simple Ways to Share the Faith at Home, St. Anthony Messenger Press; Family Way of the Cross, Liguori Publications; A Guide for Godparents, Liguori Publications; Godparenting for Life, Liguori Publications; and dozens of articles and contributions to other books.  and contributing author to Families and Faith published by Twenty-Third Publications.

Jim lives with his wife, Debbie, and their five children (Juli, Sarah, Nate, Nick and Elena) in Canfield, Ohio.
